THE FINE PRINT.
The 2016 Dominican Republic Trip Giveway (the “Giveaway”) is administered by the Maritime Car Loan (“MCL”), is intended to be conducted in the Atlantic Canada provinces only (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland), and shall be construed and evaluated according to applicable Canadian law. No purchase is necessary to enter the Giveaway. Making a purchase will not increase the odds that a particular entry will be drawn. Giveaway is void in whole or part where prohibited by law. Entry in this Giveaway constitutes acceptance of these Giveaway rules (the “Giveaway Rules”).
CONTEST PERIOD.
The Contest begins at 8:00 am. Atlantic Time (“AT”) on November 24 and ends at 11:59 pm PT on December 16, 2016 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the end of the Contest Period will not be eligible to win a Prize.
GENERAL.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of MCL. MCL reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a Prize (or any portion thereof) cannot be awarded for any reason. Giveaway carries a maximum value of $1500 CAD.
WINNER SELECTION.
At or about 1:00 PM on December 17th, 2016 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, one (1) entrant shall be selected at random by MCL from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period for the Prize. Odds of winning a Prize in any draw depend upon the number of eligible entries received prior to the draw.
NOTIFICATION.
An entrant whose name is drawn will be contacted by the account used on Facebook. MCL will only contact selected entrants. Attempts will be made to contact each selected entrant during regular business hours for a period of five (5) business days after the date of the prize draw. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond to any messages left by Maritime Car Loan within this period, or the prize is refused, then he/she will forfeit any right to the prize and MCL may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate prizewinner or withdraw the prize.
